Eby construction is a custom cabinetry shop located in Richmond, near the Bart Station. We specialize in high-end cabinetry and woodworking in both residential and commercial settings

Job description

Delivery driver is primarily responsible for loading, unloading, and driving finished product between workshops, vendors and job sites throughout the Bay Area. Deliveries are done in a 16’ box truck and an 11’ box truck. Additionally, Delivery Driver maintains vehicles, assists with scheduling deliveries, helps with shipping and receiving, and supports general workshop operations.

Expectations

Safety is the first priority for all activities. The Delivery Driver must use safe practices with lifting, carrying, driving, maintenance, housekeeping and all other activities.

Deliveries require extreme care and thoughtful planning. Deliveries must also happen at a consistent pace. We need our Deliver Driver to bring a detail-oriented, even tempered, eager personality to work each day.

These things are required

  • Clean California driver’s license (C license is fine)

  • Fluency in English (bilingual with Spanish preferred)

  • Arrive to work on time every day

  • Organize your tasks efficiently, work efficiently

  • Polite, assertive attitude in all conversation

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly

  • Team lifting up to 100 pounds regularly

  • Sitting, standing, bending, lifting for 8 hours at a time
